The Artemis XL can be used as a primary staircase under K1 building regs: BS5395 CAT's A, B and C, and can also be used for commercial applications such as offices, shops, showrooms etc.

Our new range of Custom Shop Spiral stairs combines the best features of Custom Shop quality with easy installation and off-the-peg prices. The finish on the spindles and centre column spacers is lightly textured powder coating which is highly durable and maintenance free. The 40mm thick beech treads and 50mm diameter beech handrail are finished in clear satin varnish. Fixings are either BZP galvanised or stainless steel, with high quality ABS mouldings and connectors.
Use as a primary domestic staircase - The 1850mm diameter Artemis spiral staircase can be used as a primary staircase in most domestic applications, and some commercial applications too. It complies with the requirements of BS5395 part 2 1984 categories A, B and C.
Strong and Robust - able to meet the requirements of heavy duty use, with an elegant and simple contemporary style. Strong, stable, heavy duty staircase for commercial or domestic use.
Supplied as standard with a beautiful beech handrail for that extra touch of class you don't get with PVC handrails. The overall look and feel of quality is unrivalled in this class of staircase.
Standard colour Silver-Mist metalwork with light beech timber components.
Charcoal Black and Parchment White metalwork finishes are also available to order.
Also available in custom colours - Oak stain, Dark Walnut stain, and a beautiful, almost-black, Wenge stain. Or if you prefer to stain the wood yourself we can supply the wood components bare of finish.
Flexible modular system - we can quote you for floor to floor heights from 2.1metres up to 4.5 metres.

Landing platform design allows the staircase to be used in a variety of locations - connect to a balcony or mezzanine, or in a square or circular opening (trimming of the landing platform is necessary for circular openings)

Spindles have the correct <100mm spacing for the UK market.

Riser bars available where required. (Riser bars are mandatory in Scotland. In the rest of the UK please consult your local Building Control department) Riser bars cannot be ordered seperately as they are made to measure.
